Will The Real Jets Please Stand Up

Every time the New York Jets take the field, you never know what team your going to get. It may be the Jets team that stomped over the Titans, or the Jets team that is overmatched by the 49ers. Brett Favre is a great quarterback, but he can't win every game on his own. When the Jets lose, the WR's are missing. Laverneus Coles and Jerrico Cotchery are either on or off, there' no in between with these guys.

When the Jets win:
Brett Favre's Average Stats : 226.5 yards, 2 TD's
Thomas Jones' Average Stats: 86 yards, 1.1 TD's

When the Jets lose:
Brett Favre's Average Stats: 206.6 yards, .8 TD's
Thomas Jones' Average Stats: 92 yards, .6 TD's

It seems that when the Jets win, they throw it successfully and run it less. When they lose, they run successfully and throw it less. The Jets will need to be a consistent team if they want to compete with the best teams in the playoffs.
